Binary package hint: kmail
Kmail has repainting issues. Text in the message window is often
distorted, highlighting the text takes care of this and makes it
readable. Additionally, the top part of the folder list, as well as the
message list and the top area above the message list often does not
refresh correctly.
Dell Inspiron laptop: 4GB RAM, Dual core 2G processor.
kernel version 2.6.27-11-generic
KMail version 1.11.2
KDE version is 4.2.2.
