I had no problem with a standard Jaunty 32bit install. When I installed
Ubuntu Studio I got lockups constantly so I can't use this system now.

I had installed with EXT4 so I tried reinstalling wth EXT3. Same
problem.

I have an Nvidia card but I checked what graphics driver the OS was
using. That being said, I did install the recommended proprietary driver
but the problem continued. I haven't tested to see if a regular kernel
fixes the problem becuase 1) I'm sure it will since I had no problems
with Ubuntu Jaunty 2) The system will be of no use to me without RT I
think.
