I had no problem with a standard Jaunty 32bit install. When I installed Ubuntu Studio I got lockups constantly so I can't use this system now.
I had installed with EXT4 so I tried reinstalling wth EXT3. Same problem. I have an Nvidia card but I checked what graphics driver the OS was using. That being said, I did install the recommended proprietary driver but the problem continued. I haven't tested to see if a regular kernel fixes the problem becuase 1) I'm sure it will since I had no problems with Ubuntu Jaunty 2) The system will be of no use to me without RT I think. -- Ubuntu Studio 9.04 freezes up perm. right after login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371522 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
