Right, we restrict accessibility of reports to the user the crashed process belonged to, in order to not expose potentially confidential or sensitive information to other users. Thus you need to either use sudo to copy/chmod the report to a file you can read/write to or just run apport-retrace through sudo. > I would have preferred the error message without the python traceback > though.
