Ok, I think I got it right this time. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce the second problem I mentioned. The problem of two songs playing at once seems to be intermittent and unpredictable. If I can find something that reproduces it on a consistent basis I will open a new bug report for it, and post the backtrace for it. But anyways, here's the backtrace after reproducing the interface freeze when trying to play a song with an at symbol (@) in the file name.
