The workaround does not work well for me. I click 'system setting', then change something else, and when I click ok the entry disappears from the list of network connections. To be able to keep the network setting between login's I have to repeat this step a couple of times. But after a reboot the setting is lost! Is there an alternative to this Network Manager from Hell? And how can I configure it from a shell?
