Thanks for your report.
However this is more of a technical support issue than it is a bug. The
menu items a grayed out while you are customizing menus but they return
to being accessible once you click done in the menu customization area.
This is also true for the customize option when right clicking on a
toolbar.
If this is not what you mean, please feel free to reopen this report.
