I kind or rewrite the parts that cause the problem. I'm not a programmer, and my scripting capabilities are limited. I just put the hole file as an attachment. I was motivated to make a pach but i didn't know the standard way
I commented out SRCVERSION because it doesn't work always, and then the script aborts (dpkg-parsechangelog brakes it) I added the case that theres a link to changelog, so that it doesn't abort. With just a default logfile created also at run time dch complains: dch warning: Recognised distributions are: {warty,hoary,breezy,dapper,edgy,feisty,gutsy,hardy,intrepid,jaunty,karmic}{,-updates,-security,-proposed} and UNRELEASED. Using your request anyway. dch warning: ignoring -a/-i/-e/-r/-b/--allow-lower-version/-n/--bin-nmu/-R/-q/--qa/-s/--bpo/-l options with --create dch: Did you see those 2 warnings?
