Public bug reported: After upgrading from Inrepid to Jaunty the compiz screenshot plugin was not working any more: it showed the blue area, but no image file was actually produced. Launching compiz from the command line I got the error message:
/usr/bin/compiz.real (screenshot) - Error: failed to write screenshot image After activating the compiz Png plugin in the Compiz Settings Manager everything was working fine again. I think therefore that the Screenshot plugin should depend on the Png plugin. Note: the Png plugin was not active in Intrepid, and yet the Screenshot plugin was working, it's not that Png got disabled by mistake in the upgrade. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: compiz png screenshot -- Compiz screenshot plugin should depend on Png https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375168 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
