Hello,

I have the same problem and I have posted in the official Nvidia forums:

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=95809

What I have done as a workaround is this:

1. System -> Administration -> NVidia X Server Settings -> nvidia settings
configuration -> Save current configuration and save the file to the desktop
with xorg.conf name
2. rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf
3. cp /home/user_name/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf
4. log out and log back in

This way the blurry fonts and other weird things disappear and
everything works normally.

It seems to me that gdm (I can safely say kdm because I have experienced
the same thing) overwrites the xorg.conf file during boot. If we can
find a way to *not* to overwrite the xorg.conf file created/modified by
Nvidia drivers, we will be fine.

Best regards,
Tolga
