I think this might be apm related. strace looks like it can't find some apm files. apm_available returns code 1. When I modprobe apm, I see the following in dmesg: [399389.775014] apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.16ac) [399389.775017] apm: disabled - APM is not SMP safe. [400565.525610] apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.16ac) [400565.525613] apm: disabled on user request. [400602.898830] apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.16ac) [400602.898833] apm: disabled on user request.
I am working on taking apm out of sleepd, but it is not so easy. -- Segmentation fault on start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371463 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
