I tried:
sudo echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/0000\:03\:00.0/rfkill/rfkill0/state

with the result:
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/0000:03:00.0/rfkill/rfkill0/state: Permission denied

I also tried installing the linux-backports-modules-jaunty package but
it doesn't help. After rebooting, wireless still doesn't work, so I
tried:

~$ modprobe iwlagn
WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper, it will be
ignored in a future release.

~$ dmesg | grep iwlagn
