Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xsane

When I'm creating a new image in Gimp, acquiring it from my scanner, xsane
crashes with the following message:
"Calling error for procedure 'gimp-image-new': Procedure 'gimp-image-new' has
been called with value '0' for argument 'height' [...]" and other errors
related to the same function.
I attached a screenshot of the complete error window.

I'm running:
xsane 0.996, gimp 2.6.6-0ubuntu1 on Kubuntu 9.04. My scanner is a multifunction
printer Samsung SCX-4200, official driver 3.00.37 (they used to work fine on
8.10).

Greetings,
Davide
