similar problem here. after some computer usage I had two processes using about 5% cpu constantly: pulseaudio and python. Do not know what python was, so I execute a "killall python": many AWN icons on the dock bar disappeared and the pulseaudio process as well. I do not keep the padevchooser in the systray.
