*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 226710 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226710
This exact message happened to me 2 days ago, last night around 1:00am I found out what was causing it. I was using 2 500gig drives in RAID1, both drives had previously been used in a RAID5 software array. After 2 days I unwrapped 2 new 1Tbyte drives followed the exact same steps as previous and everything worked. All I have to do now is work out how to remove the old RAID info from the 500 Gig drives. -- RAID initialisation fails on boot with 2.6.24-16 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228782 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
