This exact message happened to me 2 days ago, last night around 1:00am I
found out what was causing it. I was using 2 500gig drives in RAID1,
both drives had previously been used in a RAID5 software array. After 2
days I unwrapped 2 new 1Tbyte drives followed the exact same steps as
previous and everything worked. All I have to do now is work out how to
remove the old RAID info from the 500 Gig drives.
