I've run into this problem on the Microsoft FTP site. For example, when I view ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Products/mspress/samples using Firefox under Linux, some of the dates show up as 02/08/107, but when I view the same URL using Firefox under Windows, the dates don't show up at all.
