@dannyp32 I'm sorry Danny, but my comments are of no use to you. I thought you already had a functional ubuntu installation running and were having trouble after the upgrade. So I'm afraid you have to wait until a new installer becomes available or otherwise revert to 8.10 Intrepid first and do an upgrade from there and making sure you keep a working old kernel and install this new kernel beside the old one.
