Looks to me like the problem, fundamentally, is that: linux-restricted-modules-generic
Tries to update, but it depends on: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.28-12-generic Which doesn't seem to exist anywhere in packages.ubuntu.com. I have all repos enabled, and yet still get: "Package linux-restricted-modules-2.6.28-12-generic is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source." Without restricted modules wireless (and other restricted fun) doesn't work. So the real question is where linux-restricted- modules-2.6.28-12-generic is? -- kernel 2.6.28-12 breaks wireless, old kernel fine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/372711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
