Hello eveybody, I also met this problem  I tried to use"ifconfig -a "but I 
could not find bnep0, then I tried to use this "ifconfig bnep0 192.168.1.112 
netmask 255.255.255.0
SIOCSIFADDR: no device 
bnep0: no devie
SIOCSIFNETMASK: no device 


I don't know why .oh , I forgot to mention that I tried on  Ubuntu 9.04 and 
bluetooth device information as follows:
