When Proprietary FGLRX Drivers are activated, major problems with ATI HD
3670. Running clean install of Ubuntu Jaunty Jackelope with all updates
as of MAY-05-2009.

When attempting to resume from suspend or hibernate, the system hangs
showing a black screen and a cursor. Cursor and all commands are
unresponsive.

Simple 2D window performance is very bad. Maximizing windows or opening
new ones takes a lot of time, however minimizing them does not. The
minimize action is not very fluid, however.

Deactivating the proprietary drivers causes all these issues to be
resolved, but there is obviously no 3D acceleration then.

** Summary changed:

- Unable to resume from sleep and hibernate on dell studio xps laptop
+ ATI Radeon HD 3670 Proprietary FGLRX Drivers break Suspend, Hibernate and
major performance issues.
