I did a clean install of Jaunty on 5/5/2009 All seems to function except that I get the same "ACPI Unable message that others have reported
I had this problem with 8.10 and "fixed it" since all fans and temperature on the computer appear ok by removing the thermal module. Jaunty does not seem to have a thermal module.
