I can confirm this bug, with compiz enabled. Firefox 3.0.1 and evince 2.26.1 in fullscreen flickers every time you right-clik, or hover over a button (for example the next page button in evince or the reload in firefox). Hovering over tooltips ot tabs in firefox and opening a context menu in both programs also reproduces the program. Moreover Alt- Tab also causes flickering, which goes mad if you re-select firefox or evince or any window that is minimised or shaded (only the title bar appearing) , but don't release alt-tab. I also use emerald if that makes any difference.
