Can you execute the following command line in a terminal window: cupsfilter -m application/vnd.cups-postscript -p /etc/cups/ppd/<printer>.ppd <file>.pdf > test.ps
Replace <file>.pdf by the name of the PDF file which does not print for you. Post the screen output of the command. Display test.ps on the screen (with evince or gv).
