Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

I'm not sure if this is a bug in network-manager or the transmission
bittorrent client. When I initiate a new torrent with Transmission
(e.g.
http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/9.04/ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso.torrent),
the wired network disconnects. I used to use a wireless network card
instead and it did the same thing. It happens almost every time, it
seems, when there are no torrents running and a new one is added.

The network reconnects shortly beginning the torrent, and is fine
afterward.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
