Maybe this is related, maybe not: i'm using a standard (non-remix) Jaunty install on an Acer Aspire One and *sometimes* interacting with xine causes X11 to crash, where "interacting with" has been one of:
a) changing position of the video stream. b) pausing the video c) adding a video to xine via drag/drop (though i strongly suspect drag/drop has nothing to do with it other than bad timing). it doesn't happen every time - maybe one time in 15 or 20 interactions.
