** Summary changed:

- Notebookfan starts to work very often
+ More power consumption and more heat scince 9.04 on my Laptop

** Description changed:

  I switched clean (new installation) to Ubuntu 9.04 64bit from 8.10 64 bit. I
have a HP 6715s with AMD X2 and ATI x1250.
- When i boot Ubuntu the cooling fan starts every 30 seconds with CPU @800MHz.
With Ubuntu Ibex it was every 5 Minutes for less then 10 seconds. I think there
is something wrong with the free xorg driver radeon maybe.
+ When i boot Ubuntu the cooling fan starts every 30 seconds with CPU @800MHz
and PowerTop shows a power consumption of 19 watts. With Ubuntu Ibex it was
every 5 Minutes for less then 10 seconds and a power consumption of 13 watts. I
think there is something wrong with the free xorg driver radeon maybe.

Someone told me to switch off the tracker-service - i tried with no
effect. The Problem is also reported in german at
