I already solved the problem using this:

"I went in the /lib/modules/2.6.24-xxx/modules.alias and I commented out
the first two occurrences of AES that link to padlock and geode
hardware".

This solved the problem with my sound card (AD1888) and my Cisco 340
wireless worked too as well !

The problem is everytime the kernel is upgraded I have to do this in
order to get everything working (and when loading drivers on startup it
does not take more than 3 minutes).

Best regards.
