This happened again the other night. At around 8:20 PM I closed the lid.
I observed the status lights and confirmed that the "throbber" was
indicating suspension. I then put the laptop in my bag and didn't take
it out again until the morning. At that time, the computer was powered
down; it had automatically hibernated due to low battery (the computer
was plugged in before I closed the lid, and should have been at 100%
battery).

I'm attaching the /var/log/messages logs of this period.

I'm very eager to squash this bug and will provide any
debugging/diagnostic information that might be helpful. Just let me know
what I should do.
