This happened again the other night. At around 8:20 PM I closed the lid. I observed the status lights and confirmed that the "throbber" was indicating suspension. I then put the laptop in my bag and didn't take it out again until the morning. At that time, the computer was powered down; it had automatically hibernated due to low battery (the computer was plugged in before I closed the lid, and should have been at 100% battery).
I'm attaching the /var/log/messages logs of this period. I'm very eager to squash this bug and will provide any debugging/diagnostic information that might be helpful. Just let me know what I should do. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/messages transcript of failed suspend/resume (1 May 2009)" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26315803/suspend-bug-log.2.txt -- Inspiron 6400 resuming with lid closed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
