kdepim-dev: /usr/lib/kde4/kio_groupwise.so
.sos in lib/kde4/ are mostly not just links (unlike most of those plain
.so in lib/), thus having this file in -dev is indeed very wrong and
indeed preventing the use of groupwise in Kontact.
Course of action:
* Check if this is an issue in Debian
** If it is, get it fixed there and ensure it gets merged into Kubuntu
packaging (fortunately merging is in progress right now)
** If it is not, get the fix applied to the kdepim packaging branch
* Prepare a stable release update (see ubuntu wiki for process description) to
get this changed in 9.04 so that Alexander can access groupwise again :)
