After my tests I can confirm this bug. The lshal | grep
power_management" reports power_management.can_suspend = false. I also
get standby disk for cat /sys/power/state. However "echo standby >
/sys/power/state"  says "bash: /sys/power/state: Permission denied".

On Windows XP the suspend to ram works.
