Ideally, I would request to test directly with wpa_supplicant... bug guess we could just begin to see what Network Manager have to tell us.
Please have a look at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager There, you will find instructions on how to get clean log file for Network Manager. Hum... I may try to give what I expect to be try, even if I am quite unsure myself: -Open a new terminal window (Applications/accessories/Terminal) -"sudo killall NetworkManager" stop the NetworkManager -"sudo modprobe -r iwlagn" -r=remove -"sudo modprobe iwlagn debug=65535" reload the driver with debugging -"tail -n0 -f /var/log/syslog > ~/syslog_wpa2" begin to log every error in the file syslog_wpa2 in your home directory(~) -"sudo NetworkManager" restart the NetworkManager -wait or do as you would normally to connect to your WPA2 access point (as I don't use it myself, I cannot be precise as what to do here) -press Ctrl-C in the terminal, to stop the logging in the syslog_wpa2 file -attach the syslog_wpa2 file to this bug report, by using the attach option at the end of this web page: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350370 (current bug ) ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- [jaunty] Intel WiFi Link 5100/iwlagn cannot connect to WPA2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
