Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-gnutls
Hi, Please request the promotion of this package into main -- and thus formal security support by Canonical. The rationale for this is that this module is the only thing that currently allows for TLS SNI (Server Name Indication)[1] to work. There is ongoing work in OpenSSL (upstream) and Apache (future version 2.4) to enable TLS SNI to work; but that is likely to be ready in a few years. TLS SNI allows for multiple virtual https web servers on a single IP.
