+ Hi, my Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600PRO ATLANTIS are not properly
detected/recognized by Ubuntu 9.04, Jokey doesn't work.
I installed Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 final some days ago, and my video
card was not detected/recognized, but i have 2D and 3D acceleration with the
Open Source Drivers, but some textures are missing, plus performance is reduced
and poor compared with the previous Ubuntu (Intrepid Ibex 8.10). The strange
thing is that Compiz worked out of the box for the first time for me with no
slowdown, even in Firefox, which, was a common problem before.
Jockey GTK doesn't work. I tried the latest (9.4) ATI proprietary Drivers, no
luck too, when i run aticonfig it says my video card is not detected. And
install through both Jockey (doesn't detected/recognized nothing) or Synaptic
doesn't work. When i log in there is a weird screen with weird graphics, it
flash three times and freeze. I have to enter in Recovery Mode, remove the
fglrx Driver, put "radeon" on xorg.conf again and reboot. (Since you have to
put "fglrx" for the Driver to work)

There is a attachment to show that my video card are weirdly not
detected/recognized, and here some Bash results:
