This seems to be a desktop issue. Hence, it is being assigned to 'desktop-base'. If the desktop is gnome, then it might be useful if 'Xevixuzi' attaches the output of the log file of the 'gdm' during the boot-up. PS: log files can be found at /var/log/gdm/*.log
