I will chime in here as well. I have just upgraded an eeepc 901 from 8.04 to 9.04, and I can not get the Swiss German keyboard to work in a normal sense.
Under 8.04 I used the attached layout file, with appr Ftopriate changes to base.xml. For some reason this doesn't work under 9.04 (even though I can get the layout to show up in the keyboard preferences. Conversely, just running setxkbmap eeepc_de does put in the proper keymap and all is good. Perhaps this variation could be added to the keymaps for the next release of Ubuntu ? cheers P ** Attachment added: "Swiss German keymap for eeepc 901" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26064378/eeepc_de -- Swiss keyboard layout wrong https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/222430 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
