I wrote a howto: http://gquigs.blogspot.com/2009/01/bad-memory-howto.html
It is for all intensive purposes just as easy as using the badRAM patch. (And I have been running with the memmap options for some time now with no issues). I'm thinking about closing this bug, does anyone still have a use for the badRAM patch after using my howto? ** Attachment removed: "unnamed" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14338567/unnamed ** Attachment removed: "unnamed" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14528767/unnamed -- [needs-packaging] BadRAM Linux Kernel Patch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185804 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
