** Description changed: - Sorry about my Englich because i am from Germany - - I have installt Ubuntu 8.10 on my Desktop PC. - After Downloading and Installing the Updates i have restarted my PC an all Programmes run stabel. - but after installing the Nvidia drivers witch i had found in System>Administration>Advanced hardware drivers - I have restarted my PC again. - After this Restart my PC didn`t load ubuntu it stoped all the time at the Process "Checking Battery mode...." - but it is a Desktop PC without a Battery. - - I hope you could understand me . + Sorry about my English because I am from Germany.
