Hello Alexander, as I said - the same driver worked quite well before the update. Same hardware (both computer and router), same Windows XP Atheros driver used with 8.10. So it is not very likely that this is an driver issue. Many people complain that working WLAN / WIFI do not function anymore after updating to 9.04. For example - you can check ubuntuusers.de and search for WPA and WLAN.
Ok - I meanwhile found a working solution. Maybe that will also help other frustrated users: Deinstall completely ndiswrapper via Synaptic. Then follow the instructions on http://www.ubuntugeek.com/new-madwifi-now-supports-ar2425-in-madwifi-trunk-branch.html. To get everything loaded automatically at startup call 'gksudo gedit /etc/modules' and add 'ath_pci' to this file. Jo -- ndiswrapper - WLAN WIFI Connects with WPA encryption do not work. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367857 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
