We should now have sync'd compilers on Intrepid and Hardy, at least that is my understanding. The release team are meant to be aware and tracking any such inconsistancies so that they get squashed. As for Jaunty it having just released ought to mean they are in sync right now and the versions page for gcc-4.3 indicates there is only the version in -release there are no later updates: jaunty current main release 4.3.3-5ubuntu4 and on my amd64 jaunty box I see no missmatch between: Linux version 2.6.28-11-generic (bui...@crested) (gcc version 4.3.3 (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) ) #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:58:03 UTC 2009 and: gcc version 4.3.3 (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) -- kernel 2.6.27-11-generic and gcc version mismatch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343614 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
