Public bug reported: Binary package hint: plasma-widget-network-manager
I right-click the plasma icon for NetworkManager, and select 'Network Managment'. Then I setup a wireless network with a WEP key and save it. I can now see the new entry in the 'Wireless' tab, but it is unusable: there is no way to connect to that network by selecting and clicking on the corresponding line, nor can I find any 'connect' button. If I left-click the plasma icon, I can see the same wireless SSID, but when attempting to connect to it a dialog pops up asking again for network configuration data, including the WEP key! $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 $ apt-cache policy plasma-widget-network-manager plasma-widget-network-manager: Installato: 0.0+svn930811-0ubuntu2 Candidato: 0.0+svn930811-0ubuntu2 Tabella versione: *** 0.0+svn930811-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: plasma-widget-network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Network Managment not allowing to connect to saved network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367849 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to plasma-widget-network-manager in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
