** Description changed: Using Jaunty Netbook Remix 9.04 dev branch with Haier X200. Have tried various suggestions with similar bugs, such as getting xserver-xorg- input-all but it says latest version is installed and still no touchpad whatsoever (fyi version is 1:7.4~5ubuntu18). Only way to use pointer currently is with USB mouse. + Windows lists the touchpad as "Alps." + Based on other bug reports like this, I've attached the results of xinput list and lspci -vvnn for further information.
