Void, sorry, I have nothing to offer by way of help. Everything just sort of resolved itself after I updated my packages one day toward the end of the beta. I still have an issue with Skype sometimes losing the microphone on my onboard sound card. That seems to be linked to Flash/AIR (Twhirl Twitter client). Everything else just works now.
