** Description changed: I'm running the latest kernel for 6.10 (I'm posting from windows and forgot to check the exact kernel version) My system will not always start, here is one of the bugs I'm reporting in that context. System details are here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HP_Pavilion_DV8220EA During (attempted) bootup in recovery mode I got: *checking root file system... fsck 1.39 (29-May-2006) base: Superblock last write time is in the future. FIXED. + Sometimes the bootup continues and sometimes it doesn't. + What was that and why did it happen? I have been told that using UTC instead of local time can give problems if I have windows installed on the same PC. But I installed Ubuntu after Windows - so Ubuntu knew that I had windows installed (it was 'found' before writting grub.lst) - so I assume time is set to local. I'm not sure how to check any of this though.
