Public bug reported: Binary package hint: alacarte
Here's how to reproduce the bug: 1. Launch alacarte menu editor by going to System > Preferences > Main Menu. 2. Click on _any_ item listed under the 'Menus' tree. You'll see that 'Move Up' / 'Move Down' / 'New Separator' buttons are disabled. 3. However, the 'Properties' button is enabled. On clicking this button, nothing happens. So, either a properties dialog box should pop-up OR the 'Properties' button should be disabled when the selected item is something from the 'Menus' tree. I'm using Ubuntu 8.10. I don't know whether this bug exists in 9.04 (not downloaded yet), so maybe someone who's already installed 9.04 can check whether this bug exists in 9.04 too. ** Affects: alacarte (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: New ** Tags: alacarte ** Tags added: alacarte ** Summary changed: - Alacarte (menu eEditor) should disable 'Properties' button for a few items + Alacarte (menu editor) should disable 'Properties' button for a few items -- the properties button does nothing on categories https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366723 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
