I made my bug a duplicate of this. My hardware: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M6 LY [1002:4c59]
For the questions, the answers are pretty much the same, except for the players mplyer and xine gave blue screen for me.
