Saluton Robert :)

When I checked, that affected the way tags were handled, in fact it
*fixed* the problem (and it was the fix used upstream by the original
author).

I may be wrong here, but looks like your locale doesn't support UTF-8 or
like you're using the "C" locale to run the script (or maybe the script
can't get your locale correctly...).

I've tested right now in my new Ubuntu Jaunty the same steps I used to
reproduce the bug when I first reported it, and the bug no longer
happens. I'm using 0.6.16, and I already knew that the bug was fixed in
that version.

Your bug seems to be a different one. BTW, when I call eyeD3 on a file
with UTF-8 encoded tags, the program shows the tags perfectly. I haven't
tested my entire MP3 collection, but it seems to work.

I would report a different bug instead, because I don't think both bugs
are related. I hac. If you give me detailed instructions to reproduce
the bug I'll try to reproduce it and I'll confirm the bug after you
report it.

Good luck :)
