After a quick look, there are still several issues with the 9.04beta - I didn't especially checked the kernel, but the USB and network don't work. However I don't use this (old and noisy) PC any more; I've a newer one, with an Hardy Heron running nicely. So if nobody else is concerned by this bug, I suggest to close it. (Well, if you really need it, I could of course investigate more). Thanks.
