Public bug reported:

Currently in In 'xorg-server-1.6.0/include/misc.h' MAXDEVICES is defined
as:

#define MAXDEVICES     20 /* input devices */

In older Xorg versions this was 128 (at least, that's what the upstream
Changelog says).

Now, because of that, the default Ubuntu doesn't work anymore on large
multiseats (as was reported to me by one Belgian company selling these).
I'd prefer if he could install Ubuntu instead of Debian on it (Debian has an
older Xorg...).   ;-)

Would it be possible to increase the maximum number of input devices for
Ubuntu's Xorg server?
(Of course it's too late for jaunty, but would be nice for karmic!)

** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
