Hm, I'm not very sure which release are you exactly talking about,
Catalyst 9.4 with fglrx 8.602 has been released just two days ago, I
think.

However, it's good idea to don't recommend installing fglrx drivers even
from the hardware drivers in jaunty. I'm just not very sure whether the
fglrx 8.600 driver, which is actually included in jaunty repository as I
know, installs automatically or not.

And a last thing.
If you read the Release Notes for Catalyst 9.4 (fglrx 8.602), they say,
Jaunty IS newly supported by the driver (with notice "early look" in
brackets).
