Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] has same slowdown. Scrolling in OpenOffice.org and LyX is almost impossible, and let's xorg use 99% cpu. Also playing flash-videos is sluggish.
Changing to XAA acceleration solves this. (Approx. same performance as Intrepid) Radeon r100-rv200 should use XAA accelration.
