I tried to hibernate but I were low on swap, and I was thrown back to my kde 
session. I've noticed the notification saying "Compositing performance was too 
slow and has been suspended. You can resume using Alt+Shift+F12 shortcut". I 
think I don't see this after suspend/resume because notification is shown while 
my screen is locked.
The problem is now that the shortcut doesn't work.
As a workaround you can disable functionality checks in "System Settings - 
Desktop - Desktop Effects - Advanced". But as another issue: it's weird that it 
checks compositing performance just after resume while computer is busy on 
waking itself up.
